Like Report Nasho 2 years ago The Bosch Technician who inspected my dishwasher stated that the replacement facia panel was no longer available and that the unit was now only fit for landfill, despite the fact that the dishwasher motor and it's performance was still quite functional. I was told by the Bosch technician that their fear is that the cracked facia panel would cause an electrical short-out that could be fatal. Even if the part was available I doubt that without the correct tools one would be able to repair it satisfactorily. We are using the Normal 45 button which the manual says should only take 30 minutes. Is there any way of setting a quicker time manually for this particular purpose ??

In fact I spoke with Bosch today and made a throw away comment about shoddy appliances and service network. The customer service representative was most offended, saying the last 3 dishwashers she had had in the previous 10 years were all Bosch and all very good. She was reluctant to comment further with regard to why she had replaced her dishwasher 3 times in the last 10 years. Was a great machine while it worked but just really bad design floors and very very poor support network and customer service. We bought a Miele and have been really happy with performance, value for money and support.
